We have an extensive wine list which is sourced from local vineyards in the surrounding area – award winning wines from Harcourt Valley, Black Jack and Bress vineyards.

Our wines are served in beautiful glassware and we even have a stock of back vintages for those looking for something special!

Golden Plate Awards – The Railway Hotel has won Golden Plate Awards two years running. The latest Award was in the ‘Value for Money’ category after being nominated in five categories. We were pleased to be have since been nominated.

The food was inspired by our Chef who was motivated by her mother’s love of cooking and the fresh foods.

She has a passion for cooking and is looking forward to bringing some unique flavours and dishes to add to the favourites already of our popular and varied menu.

Following inspiration from her family, Cherona’s official cooking career began 16 years ago under the guidance of Carlo Barri, a very well known and respected Chef in Bendigo, Victoria who was classically trained in a fine dining restaurant. Cherona has honed her skills in a range of venue types including hotels and restaurants and has many fresh delights waiting to tempt your tastebuds.
