The origins of the Railway Hotel Castlemaine were inspired by the steam trains that stopped nearly at the front door.
Travellers from Melbourne, Maldon and everywhere in between used this novel means of transport to explore the goldfields areas with Castlemaine catching the hearts of many.
With the increasing popularity of this historic venue, itself, we will be opening for weekend lunches from July 19th and working with tourism operators in and around the area to provide a unique dining/bar experience for visitors to the area.
The Hotel boasts many historic artefacts and stories which catches the hearts of first time visitors, drawing them back for more, and wanting to share the experience with friends and family.
